Our Achievements
In 2004 ISS was awarded through
RFP process contracts provided by funding from the
EPA and CMAQ in excess of
one million dollars. Seventeen school districts in the
Colorado Front Range benefited from this program with
installations of over 1100 “Diesel Exhaust-After
Treatment Devices” and engine pre-heaters. This
contract was subsequently renewed in 2005 and is currently
in the renewal process for 2006-2007.
In 2006, the ISS Fleet Team was awarded Master Contractor
Status with the Puget Sound Clean Air Authority in Washington
State. In this program qualified school buses are being
retrofitted with Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Mufflers and
Closed Crankcase Filtration Systems. This contract was
renewed June 30, for the 2006-07 fiscal year.
Through the EPA the Lane Regional Air Pollution Authority
received funding benefiting selected school districts
throughout Oregon. ISS is participating in this program
that will terminate on December 31, 2006, with the installation
of Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Mufflers and Closed Crankcase
Filtration Systems
Our track record goes far beyond our current project
list described above. We have retrofitted both off road
and on road municipal vehicles with fuel fired engine
pre-heaters and emission reduction devices. We are also
recognized as a technically competent and reliable supplier
of heaters and service parts for the industry. For example
ISS is considered as a top service and service parts
supplier for RTD who has more than 1000 heaters and provides
public transportation throughout the State of Colorado.
